Forty days

I’ve blogged a lot about writing and gardening for the past few months, but have tried to not bore you with every tiny detail about publishing a book. But time is growing close now — gulp — so here’s a quick update:

THE BOOK: If you’re new to the blog, I’m coming out with a novella on Aug. 2 called “Signs and Wonders.” It’ll cost 99 cents and be available for the Kindle, Nook, iPad and other ebook readers. I’m still undecided about whether to raise the price to $2.99 in September. It’ll depend on how August sales go.

LIBRARY THING GIVEAWAY: You have a few more days left to sign up for a free copy. About 135 have registered so far and I’m making 175 copies available. If you haven’t signed up because you don’t want to deprive me of a sale on Aug, 2, there are other ways you can help me in August 🙂 The giveaway runs through June 28, when I’ll send you an email asking what format you prefer. I hope to have the formatting done the week of July 3 and shipped to you by the end of that week.

FACEBOOK:  I have an author page up now. If you “like” the page, you’ll stay up to date about the novella, its planned sequel and other novels that are planned for the future.
